Use This Mindset Trick to Conquer Your Goals and Hack Your Habits
Too often, we find ourselves faced with annoying habits. We want to workout and eat healthier. We want to work on our side hustle. There are things we want to do, but we fail to accomplish them. This one trick will help you bridge the gap.
Commit to only one day.
When we look at starting new habits, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. All we see is a bird’s eye view of it. It looks like forever. And sometimes it makes us feel stuck. We don’t want to commit to something. It’s hard.So instead of committing to anything, don’t commit. Commit to one day at a time.Instead of thinking you have to work out every day this week, think, ‘Okay, I just have to work out today. That’s all. That’s all I’m committing to.’Take things slow. Take them day by day and they become infinitely easier.Instead of feeling committed to something, you just have to commit to it once. After that, you’re free to do anything you want. You don’t have to commit to working out the next day. That’s the trick. Because then all you have to do is commit to that one day. And one day is much easier to commit to than months or a lifetime.Take things one day at a time and see how it makes a difference.
