Why I Haven’t Been Publishing as Much

I haven’t been publishing as much. I used to publish every day, now it’s closer to every other day. Maybe a few times a week. It’s not because I’m not writing. I write every day. But it’s not always useful writing. Most days it’s a stream of consciousness, waiting to see what comes out, and I haven’t been satisfied.I come up with a few ideas here and there, but for some reason, everything I write comes up half baked.I have a few drafts, but I seem to have lost my way a bit.I’ve been writing for five months straight now. It’s impressive, but also draining. As much as you love something, it can still drain your energy. Especially if it’s emotionally taxing, like writing.I’m trying to set time aside for self-care and give myself time off to rejuvenate. It doesn’t help that I’m also juggling my job, which leaves me tired. But that’s not going to stop me.I’m determined to stay the course and keep going, even if I don’t publish every day.I’m still writing every day, and as long as I publish a few times a week, I’m satisfied.
