There are some things we take for granted without ever knowing just how valuable they are.You never realize just how thankful to be for the little things.Recently, I learned one of my coworkers is homeless. Her dad died and everything spiraled until her family ended up in a homeless shelter.I know what it’s like to lose a dad. Losing a parent is never easy. Of course, loss never is.It goes to show that even in the worst of times, you can find things to be grateful for. Even though I lost my dad, I still had a home. That’s not to say you can’t feel bad about your situation, it’s merely perspective to know that it could be worse and to be grateful for what you do have.
