You don’t have enough time to create beautiful designs?Well, the bullet journal system was created by Ryder Carrol. He used simple, minimalistic designs that you can set up in under ten minutes. All you need to start is a pen and paper.

The Bullet Journal Method

1. Start off with a key/legend

Set up a legend with different characters to connote what they mean. The traditional system looks like this:

You can use whatever symbols float your boat.

2. Setup your future log

In this step, you measure out your pages and create 3 columns. At the top of each, you’ll write out the month and number of days. This is where you keep all future events like holidays, birthdays, and doctor appointments.

3. Month-at-a-glance

This spread is easy. All you have to do is write the month at the top. Then, make a vertical line on the left side of your sheet. Write the monthly numbers down the vertical line. You can even add a habit tracker on the right-hand side. Write what habit you're working on and you can check it off.
